-Full Spectrum has been shown to encourage regulation of numerous body systems.

The 2 cannabinoids produced naturally in the body are anandamide and 2-AG.

Phytocannabinoids found in plant life can be non psychoactive or psychoactive.

In school they teach us about the "11" major body systems: skeletal, muscular, cardiovascular, reproductive, and so on. Schooling has failed us human beings by leaving out the 12th and arguably most vital system of all, the Endocannabinoid System.

Ever heard of it? I hadn't until quite recently. How strange and almost intentional that we wouldn't be educated on a system that has everything to do with maintaining homeostasis and harmony within ourselves. Homeostasis is defined as the body's process of maintaining steady levels of all vital conditions.

The Endocannabinoid System was discovered in ---- in Jerusalem, Israel. In an effort to simplify the complex and intricate system, there are a few components you should be familiar with: endocannabinoids, phytocannabinoids, receptors, and enzymes.

Endocannabinids are lipids that engage receptors, AKA, "messengers". When the body doesn't produce enough, or is unable to regulate them properly, it is more susceptible to anxiety, disrupted sleep, aging, inflammatory diseases, and skin disorders.

Throughout the human body and skin are cell membrane receptors called CB1 and CB2 receptors. These endocannabinoid receptors are naturally occurring. There are 2 ways these can become activated: by endocannabinoids or phytocannabinoids. Phytocannabinpoids are cannabinoids produced by plants like the cannabis plant. Once activated, these receptors will send messages to other systems of the body to promote proper functioning.

The endocannabinoids and endocannabinoid receptors in the body fit together like a lock and key...beautifully designed by Mother Nature herself!
